Rheumatology Associates of South Texas will remain open to treat patients with certain criteria. This may change as this pandemic evolves. It is our physicians recommendation that all of our patients, not just 60 years of age and older or those on immune suppressing therapies, take every measure possible to self-quarantine, limit excursions from the home to essential activities such as visits to medical facilities in order to maintain/monitor therapy to keep auto immune diseases under control, grocery and pharmacy visits for essential needs.

Due to increased risk, we wanted to share some of the steps being taken to help minimize exposure and transmission:

  1. If you are feeling ill (fever of 99 or higher, shortness of breath, dry cough, body aches…) or have been in contact with anyone who has these symptoms, please stay home. You can contact your provider via phone @ (210) 265-8851 or patient portal.
  2. If you have traveled in the last 14 days, or have been in contact with anyone who is COVID-19 positive, please stay home.
  3. Both of our clinics will triage all people entering our offices indefinitely. Temperature of people will be taken prior to entry and assessment of any upper respiratory symptoms. If found with a temp above 99 and or symptoms, we will reschedule to a later date.

We thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions, you can contact your provider via phone @ (210) 265-8851 or patient portal.

The Physicians of Rheumatology Associates of South Texas are here to restore, maintain, and improve your health.
